TIMBER!!!

Our first big project this spring was to take out the big messy tree in front of our house...

Yes, the monkey in this picture is Nick and that is our huge tree out front (well, not anymore!)

I should have started taking pictures and videos earlier but this is the first video of part of the tree coming down. Watch the branches fly when it lands...

TIMBER! ...and down it goes! It took a few tries to pull it down but we finally got it done! If you listen at the end of this video, you can here my brother-in-law, Payden say "Now we can go outside!" I think he was a little excited to go out and start stacking wood... one project down and a bunch more to go!! I just hope we can get some of them done before all our summer activities start happening. We've got a bunch planned.
